Chapter Zero is a personalised mystery book box experience designed to begin before the first page. Choose your theme and experience level, complete your Reader Profile, then follow a sequence of clues and puzzle cards before revealing the mystery book selected for you.
1. Choose your theme
Select the type of story you want to enter:
Temptation
Romance, chemistry, emotional tension and complicated attraction.
Suspense
Hidden motives, dangerous secrets, psychological tension and unexpected revelations.
Realms
Magic, prophecy, enchanted kingdoms, dangerous quests and fantasy worlds.
2. Choose your experience level
Each theme is available in three box tiers:
Discovery
The essential Chapter Zero experience.
Signature
An expanded experience with additional bookish extras and upgraded presentation.
Collector
The most substantial Reading Ritual experience, featuring premium additions and collector-level presentation.
3. Complete your Reader Profile
After ordering, complete your Reader Profile so we can consider:
- Your preferred genres and subgenres
- Favourite tropes
- Reading history
- Books you have already read
- Preferred romance or suspense intensity
- Content preferences and boundaries
Your Reader Profile helps us select a book suited to your individual reading preferences.
4. Enter Chapter Zero
When your box arrives, begin with the first numbered envelope.
Open each envelope in sequence, complete the enclosed puzzles and record your answers as instructed.
Each clue forms part of the experience leading towards your final book reveal.
5. Reveal your match
Once Chapter Zero is complete, open the sealed Your Match envelope.
Inside, you will discover the mystery book selected for you.
